Once again the school has been a very busy place.
Last week the highlights included some our P7 pupils spending a morning thinking about personal safety at the Risk Factory, while all our pupils enjoyed the Halloween parties and an exciting House activity.
At Assembly this week our JRSO’s announced details of an exciting event in two weeks time. On Friday 23 November it will be “Be Bright, Be Seen” day. All pupils are asked to come to school in their brightest gear possible to encourage everyone to think about road safety. Posters with more details will be going up around the school in the very near future. We also thought about Remembrance Day and poppies at our Assembly as well. Our thanks to Gayle from Colinton Parish Church for her help with the assembly.
You should also now have your appointment time for your consultation with you child’s teacher on Wednesday 21 or Thursday 22 November. Please contact the school for further details if you haven’t yet received this information.
Finally, our P6 and P7 pupils are going to Lagganlia next week for their school camp experience. Our thanks go to Ms Simpson, Mrs Anderson, Mrs Fraser and PC Weir for giving up their week to go with the children. We are sure they will have a wonderful time. You can check in here on Monday to hear details of their first day.
