Congratulations to Katie (P2-The Otters), our latest recipient of the Colinton Cup. Katie won the cup because she was consistently ready to work with all the correct equipment and demonstrated excellent manners to the other children in school. Well done to her.
We are straight into the new term and already we are are busily planning lots of exciting events and opportunities for our pupils.
Beginning next week (16 January) we have a number of new, active after school clubs starting. More details, along with the chance to sign your child up will be given out tomorrow. Parents of children in P1-P3 are invited to find out more at a meeting tomorrow morning at 9:00 am in the Family Room. The activities are:-
Running Club (P4-P7). This replaces the athletics club and will be outdoors.
Movement Skills (P1-P3). Indoors.
Netball (P4-P7). Indoors. There are no changes to the arrangements for this club.
Fun ball skills (P1-P3). Indoors.
Football (P4-P7). Outdoors. There are no changes to the arrangements for this club.
Street Dance (P4-P7). Indoors.
All clubs have no charges for this term and will run from 3:15-4:00 (except netball and football which will run until 4:15). P1 and P2 children will be supervised in school until their clubs begin. If you are unable to attend the meeting please be advised that a copy of the consent forms is available on this website in the “Letters From The Office” section. Please complete and sign the form and return it to school as soon as possible.
The Lions are also beginning their preparations for Burns night. More details will follow as soon as they are available.
