Friday 19 August

The first week of the new term is almost at an end and it has been a busy one for everyone at the school.  All the pupils have now met their new teachers and parents will shortly be invited to our “Meet the Teacher” event on Wednesday 31 August as well.  More details will follow in due course.  All the teachers are happy to report that the children have all settled in to the new term and are already working hard.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new teacher, Ms Beteta, who will be working with our P2 class, and to all our new pupils which includes our new P1 intake as well as all the other children who have joined us throughout the rest of the school.  The staff working in P1 have all been really impressed with how quickly the children have settled into the school and everyone here is looking forward to working with you all over the coming weeks and months.

All our classes have now been given a name.  They are:-

Nursery am – The Kangaroos

Nursery pm – The Koalas

P1 – The Penguins

P1- The Polar Bears

P2 – The Otters

P3 – The Wildcats

P4/5 – The Lions

P5/6 – The Giraffes

P6/7 – The Zebras

Our class gallery pages have been updated to reflect these changes and new material will be added to the gallery pages just as soon as it is available.  The school calendar has been updated to include some of the events coming up in the next two months.  Other new items will be added to it as soon as the details are available, so watch this space.

Finally, we would like to encourage all parents to contact us about any questions or queries they may have as soon as they arise. Details of how to get in touch are on the website, or you can drop in to see us when you need to.
